With the continuous advancement and innovation in global environmental protection, people's commitment to safeguarding the ecological environment has grown increasingly strong. Many industries and products now prioritise environmental sustainability as a fundamental requirement, aiming to better protect our home. Consequently, our factory has aligned with global environmental progress, embodying our corporate responsibility to contribute meaningfully to society.
In recent years, with the rise and continuous development of smartwatches, the traditional watch market has also been impacted and has undergone significant changes, it has become more environmentally friendly, especially smart wearable watches, which is one of its advantages. Many of my customers have been asking me about the information of watch straps made of recyclable materials, whether they can be applied to silicone/rubber/FKM straps, our answer is acceptable. However, currently, the most widely used recyclable watch strap in the market and industry is nylon, this is because its manufacturing process is more mature and it is more accepted by the public, the material is also one of its advantages, as it is lighter and more breathable, other materials do not have such advantages.

Recyclable material watch straps are primarily crafted from eco-friendly materials such as recycled fishing nets, regenerated yarn, and discarded ocean bottles. They offer characteristics including lightness, breathability, and durability, and are commonly used in smartwatches and traditional wristwatches, specific details are as follows:
1. Sources of eco-friendly materials:
1). Recycled fishing nets: By collecting discarded nets from oceans or land, these are processed into yarn for strap production, reducing marine pollution while reusing resources.
2). Regenerated yarn: Crafted from 82% recycled yarn, this reduces carbon emissions while maintaining comfort and suppleness.
3). Ocean-waste bottles: Recovering discarded bottles from oceans or landfills, these undergo processing to become eco-friendly raw materials for watch straps. This approach reduces marine pollution while enabling resource reuse.
2. Representative Examples:
1). Apple Watch: Launched the Loop Sport Band in 2023 using 82% recycled yarn; updated the Fluoroelastomer strap in 2025, weighing just 25 grams with sweat- and water-resistant properties.
2). Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 8: 2025 adopts recycled nylon straps with Velcro fastenings, achieving lightweight texture and breathability.
3). Glashütte Original Watches: 2023 introduces recycled fishing net nylon woven straps, balancing fashion and sustainability for everyday wear.
3. Features:
1). Lightweight construction: Primarily utilising nylon or woven techniques, typically lighter than traditional metal or leather straps.
2). Breathability: Nylon weave structure enhances airflow, suitable for athletic activities.
3). Durability: Recycled materials combined with process optimisation extend service life.
